We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and St. Louis Metro Baptist Association. Please note that many affiliated baptist churches and those in some other denominations have pastors and/or congregations that believe in a Calvinistic or Reformed view of the Bible. This means among other things they believe some people, the elect, are predestined or chosen by God to be saved and everyone else has no possibility of being saved by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, they believe in an exclusive gospel. However, we are a church that believes in the openness and availability of the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. We cooperate and work with other like-minded churches. This includes a local mission program among the peoples of the former Yugoslavia. We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired word of God and is the final authority for our faith and practice. We are pro-life and pro-traditional marriage and family. We believe Christians are to do good works of the Christian life and be mission-minded.
